Super Bowl Sunday
Super Bowl Sunday! This day is almost a holiday in our house. Not for me, just for Elaine. Personally, I don’t have a dog in the fight and watching is not that important to me. Elaine seems to think the quarterbacks for both teams are nearly very special people. She won’t care who wins the game, she just wants her “boys” to do something special.
I’ll be watching Elaine, Elaine will critique the National anthem, the halftime show, the commercials and I will try to be interested in her opinions. I can guess she will be disgusted by the singers, their clothing, or lack there of, and be very vocal about it.
I can’t say what the rest of the day will bring. I do know that it is already off to an unusual start. Elaine made coffee this morning. Big deal you say. Elaine doesn’t make coffee. That is my JOB. Oh, she would make coffee if I asked, but I usually just make it myself.
It was a quiet week at the ranch, The yaks stayed in the corral, The neighbors left me alone. White-face Gordon did chew through his leash and decided to go for an unaccompanied walk. It gave Elaine plenty of time to search the internet for tidbits of info about her quarterbacks, while drawing powerlines for the National Grid as well as others.
Elaine informed me the game starts at 4:00 which tells me I have a few hours to complete what needs to be done which will include a trip to town. I’m going to wrap this up and get to town. Elaine needs to get a Chiefs hat and an Eagles shirt and I need celery.
God Bless, Love ya, see ya next week, thanks for buying yarn
Our crazy lives!
